Innovators

This pathway of service is designed for students who desire a hands-on experience of taking their Christian witness to the work place. 

Innovators work at a secular job (usually 40 hours a week) while assisting local missionaries (8-10 hours a week) in evangelism and church planting.  Supervision and mentoring provided by the place of service.

Basic Qualifications

• Innovators are self-funded college missionaries.
• Candidates must have completed their freshman year in college by the time they begin their service.
• Candidates must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Candidates will live a lifestyle above reproach- including abstinence from any use of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal or unprescribed drugs.
• Term of service varies according to ministry setting.
• Candidates may be members of a non-Southern Baptist evangelical church.
• Candidates will receive supplemental insurance coverage from NAMB.
