Semester Missionaries
Semester missionaries assist local churches, campus ministries, and NAMB missionaries with evangelism and church planting. Their work concentrates on helping in community ministries, ministering to teenagers, working with campus ministries, or assisting in church planting.
Semester missionaries:
- Candidates must have completed their freshman year in college and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Semester missionaries serve from 1 to 5 semesters.
- Semester missionaries receive travel, insurance and monthly honorarium from NAMB.
- Room and board provided by the place of service.
- Candidates must be an active member of a Southern Baptist church to receive travel and honorarium.
- Candidates must not have been out of school more than six months at the time of application.
